Dive deeper into the message with these discussion questions!
General:
What do you think dependency or independency should look in the life of the Christian?
What are some things, or who are some people that you are dependent on in your day to day life?
What are the areas in your life where you cling to independence? Why is it so difficult to ask for help/to be dependent on someone else?
What would it look like for you to spend time abiding in Christ? What’s keeping you from spending time abiding in Christ?
Do you only depend on Jesus to save you (for your salvation), or do you also depend on Jesus to “sustain” you?
Pastor Logan shared that Christians have been given a mission by Jesus and that is to bear fruit. How does that affect the way you look at your life? Your job? Your interactions?
How did this statement that Pastor Logan made affect you: "The Gospel is our fuel to continue Christian Life!" Why is it so difficult to grasp that in order to grow our Christian faith, we must invest time in God's Word?
